Animal Sponsorship Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to sponsor one of our animals. Your support helps us continue caring for the many rescued and rehomed animals who call Halfpenny Farm home. Please take a moment to read the terms below, which explain how our sponsorship scheme works.

Sponsorship

By sponsoring one of our much-loved animals, you’re helping to give them the food, shelter, veterinary care, and medication they need to live a safe and happy life.  Sponsorship does not imply ownership or exclusive rights over the sponsored animal.

Your donation also helps us maintain and improve our sanctuary, ensuring that we are able to continue supporting animals that are in desperate need of our help. 

Every penny will go to ensuring that the animals in our care receive all the love and attention they need for the rest of their lives.

Sponsorship can be set up as a monthly donation (you can select the amount that feels right for you) or as a single donation.  By selecting monthly sponsorship, you allow us to plan for the future of the sanctuary.

In the event that your sponsored animal passes away, or becomes unavailable for sponsorship, we will contact you to offer the opportunity to transfer your sponsorship to another animal of your choice. As sponsorships are charitable donations, refunds cannot be issued.  Your support will continue to make a real difference.

What You’ll Receive

When you become a sponsor, you’ll receive a welcome email along with a beautiful hard-copy certificate and a printed photo of your sponsored animal. These keepsakes are our way of saying thank you for your generosity and help you feel closer to the animal you’re supporting.

Regular Updates on Your Animal

Throughout the year on a quarterly basis, you’ll receive a digital newsletter by email with an update on your sponsored animal. We’ll share news on how they’re doing, any changes in their care or environment, and stories from the sanctuary. By sending newsletters digitally, we ensure more of your sponsorship money goes directly to the animals rather than administrative costs.

Visit Your Sponsored Animal

As a valued sponsor, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit your chosen animal once a year.  To arrange your visit please email contact@halfpenny-farm.co.uk.   This is a wonderful chance to see first-hand how your support is making a difference, meet our dedicated volunteers, and experience the sanctuary environment yourself.

Data Protection

We will use your contact information only for purposes related to your sponsorship, including sending your certificate and updates. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Legal Information

Halfpenny Farm Animal Sanctuary is a registered charity (Charity No. SCO41616). Sponsorships are voluntary donations and do not constitute a legally binding contract for the supply of goods or services.
