We have 6 ducks at the moment,

Kermit was rehomed from the New Arc when Ollie died, its always nice to be able to rehome a male bird because so many people don't want them or can't have them.

Daphne- a white indian runner and

Iris- another east indie duck.

In 2008 we bought 5 ex-commercial laying ducks, sadly we lost 3 at various times, and we bought Quaffle, who was going for £5 and as I've always wanted a Saxony drake, we bought him as a companion for the bigger laying girls.

The girls are called Daffodil and Buttercup.

In March 2012 we also welcomed Smokey to the family, she is a grey and white muscovy. She was being over frisky with the owners smaller ducks and had injured a few, so she was rehomed to live with the big ducks here and has settled in well.

In May 2012, Quackers the mallard came to stay too, he was hand reared and did not chose to go back to the wild, the fact you can walk over and pick him up shows that he really would do well as a wild animal.
